Lake Murray Pediatrics will be hosting a H1N1 (Swine) flu vaccine clinic on Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 5-7 pm and again on Saturday, October 24 from 12-2 pm (pending avaible supply). LMP has been allocated 100 doses of the H1N1 shot (ages 6 months and up) and 100 doses of the nasal mist (ages 2 years and up). This will be a first-come, first-serve basis and once our supply of the 200 doses is used then the vaccine clinic will be halted. We at LMP have no control over the ordering of this vaccine as it is 100% government-controlled with respect to allocation. We do not know if we will be receiving additional allotments nor when that may be a possibility. The vaccine will be given to children enrolled in the practice who meet the above criteria. The cost of the vaccine is free, however, your insurance company will be charged an administration fee. Please refer to the website below for more information regarding the vaccine.
