Sister Practice Opening In Orangeburg, SC
Lake Murray Pediatrics is excited to announce the opening of a sister practice in Orangeburg, SC – Hillcrest Pediatrics in January 2012. The office will be staffed by Dr. Nakia Smith. Dr. Smith was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina where she attended Orangeburg Preparatory Schools, Inc. After graduating high school, she attended college at Furman University in Greenville, SC. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and subsequently enrolled in The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. After obtaining her Doctorate of Medicine, she moved to Columbia, SC to further her medical career as a pediatrician by attending the Pediatrics Residency Program at Palmetto Health Richland. After graduating from residency, she moved back home to begin private practice in Orangeburg, SC. More information about the office can be found at www.HillcrestPedsSC.com.
