Meet Our Staff
Kyle Guyton, MD, FAAP
Dr. Kyle Guyton was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina and after graduating from Lexington High School, he furthered his education at the College of Charleston graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He then matriculated to the Medical University of South Carolina earning his Doctorate of Medicine and then pursued a residency in pediatric medicine at the University of South Carolina. In addition he served as Chief Resident during his final year of residency. Upon completion of his residency he began serving in private practice in Batesburg, South Carolina.
Personally, Dr. Guyton married his high school sweetheart, Sara and presently have two beautiful children Gavin, 3 years old, and Madison, 2 years old.They are expecting their third child in May 2010. He and his wife are active members of Lake Murray Baptist Church, where he serves as a Sunday School teacher and his wife is actively involved in the music program.
Joseph Delaney, MD, FAAP
Dr. Joseph Delaney is a native of Orangeburg, SC where he attended Orangeburg Preparatory Schools, Inc. He graduated as Salutatorian in 1996. He subsequently attended Clemson University in Clemson, SC and graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Health Science. While attending Clemson, Dr. Delaney was involved in several leadership groups on campus and served as Student Body Vice-President his senior year. He earned his M.D. from The University of South Carolina School of Medicine with graduation in 2004. In 2007, he completed a residency in pediatrics at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC. At graduation, Dr. Delaney received the Richard J. Davis, M.D. award for academic and clinical excellence. After finishing his residency he worked as a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with The University of South Carolina Department of Pediatrics.
Dr. Delaney met his wife, Leslie, in the summer of 2001, and they were married in March of 2004. They added a daughter, Carlysle, to the family in October of 2006 and Callie in September 2009 Dr. Delaney and his wife and daughter currently reside in Lexington, SC with their dog, Riggs. They attend Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church.
Cindy Miles, Lab Supervisor
Cindy graduated from College in 1977 with a Health Science degree and ASCP certification. First employer was Mcleod Hospital in Florence, SC where she was a medical lab tech. She married Kenny Miles in 1979 and they have two daughters ages 27 and 21. She has lived in Lexington for 20 years and they are active members of Red Bank Baptist Church where is involved in Vacation Bible School and other church related activities.Nancy Temples, LPN
Nancy graduated from Gilbert High School and then went on to graduate from Midlands EMS and Piedmont Techincal College where she worked as an EMS for Richland Cty. She later graduated from Aiken Techincal College with a degree in Nursing. She lives in Batesburg Leesville with her husband Shannon and four children McCella, Cody, Colton and Callie.
